We care about your privacy. This notice explains what data we process, why, for how long, with whom we share it, and what rights you have. Processing is carried out under GDPR (EU 2016/679) and applicable laws.

1) What we process & why

a) When you contact us (contact/enquiry form)

Data: name, email, phone, address; if necessary, basic company details (e.g., VAT ID).
Purpose: to respond and arrange your order/service.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps / contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: up to 36 months from our last communication if no contract follows.

We do not normally require national ID numbers or dates of birth. If exceptionally needed, we’ll explain why.

b) When you purchase

Data: billing & contact details, order and payment info.
Purpose: to fulfil the contract (deliver goods, updates, support/claims) and comply with legal obligations (tax/accounting).
Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Retention: for service fulfilment + typically 36 months; statutory records kept for the periods required by law.

c) Newsletters (existing customers)

Legal basis: soft opt-in under local e-privacy rules (opt-out at any time).
Retention: until you unsubscribe or up to 36 months after your last purchase.

2) Who helps us (processors/recipients)

Shoptet a.s. (store platform/hosting)
Shoptet Pay (payments)
Zásilkovna, PPL, DPD, Česká pošta, DHL (delivery)
E-mailing providers (e.g., Shoptet, Ecomail, Mailchimp)

Data are processed within the EU/EEA. No international transfers outside the EU without appropriate safeguards.

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
